Animated Text (Fading)
Well first of all, ignore the drawing ._. srsly ignore it. I'll show how to do fading text here so we'll only edit the Text 'Ice Cream'
1. Open 'Window>Animation'
*If you're using Photoshop CS6 Extended (I don't know about other versions, I only know this because I tried this one before)
Go to Window > Timeline, to open the Timeline. On the Timeline (small pull down menu), select Create Frame Animation.
now you have this:
2. Duplicate your current frame
3. Now change the Opacity of your text on the 2nd Frame (Frame 2)
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you reach 0 opacity
You can click on '►' Button to see how your work looks like so far.
So now we have this
If you want it to look like it's 'appearing' again
1. Select frames 2-6, click here and then 'Copy Frames'
2. Paste Frames and Choose 'Paste After Selection'
3. With these frames still selected, Reverse them
if you want to adjust the speed of your animation, just click here
If you're done, press 'Shift+Ctrl+Alt+S'
Choose 4-Up and the one with 0 Dither, 256 Colors and then just save it.

Animated Siggy
because a lot of you are asking how to make an animated siggy like on sample 3 (above), okay then.
I used Photoshop CS6 Extended here.
P.S. this is a requested siggy, so I decided to use this as a sample while doing it xD
1. Choose your animated pic or Gif.
(I'll use link this one)
2. This will depend on your PS.
Try opening your gif image.
if it shows all layers like this then that's good
3. Now create your frame
(refer to tutorial above)
Be sure to leave a hole there
4. Resize this: Change height to 150 (based on siggy size), don't change width, it will ruin the whole image.
5. Drag all layers to your frame (click top layer and hold shift then click the last one)
- Make sure that your frame (fff) is on top
6. Duplicate Layers, based on how many layers you will have.
- Before doing this, make sure that you're done designing the frame (including texts, effects etc.)
7. Now all you have to do is this
Make the first pic (Layer 1) visible to layer 1 (on Timeline)
Then The 2 Layer
3rd to layer 3
and so on... until you get to the last part
8. Adjust the speed of your animation then you're done!
If you're done, press 'Shift+Ctrl+Alt+S'
Choose 4-Up and the one with 0 Dither, 256 Colors and then just save it.
Tip: If you want to move the animated gif, just select all layers (except frame) and move it around.
